Announcing CogZest’s Advisory Board

CogZest’s mission is to extend and use broad cognitive science to help knowledge workers thrive in the sea of knowledge. More precisely, we aim to help people become more effective at using knowledge and technology to solve problems, develop products (including new knowledge) and to develop themselves. We lead by example, practicing what we preach.

Our mission, however, is too grand to be accomplished alone. Indeed, we have benefited from deeply insightful help over the years.

Today, I am pleased to announce the formation of the CogZest Advisory Board.

The board provides deep and extensive expertise in affective science (emotions, etc.), psychology, knowledge translation, health sciences, cognitive science, Artificial Intelligence, art, education, and educational technology. This board consists of Dr. Sylwia Hyniewska, Dr. Sheryl Guloy, Dr. Michael Arsenault, Dr. Dean Petters, Dr. Seanna Takacs, Lam Wong, and Diana Cruchley. For bio’s and further information, please visit the board’s web page..

As I prepare to release new products that have been several years in the making—new papers, a new book, new CogSci Apps software, etc. — it is with particular gratitude that I acknowledge this board, and others who have contributed to our mission. Compare, for instance, the acknowledgements section of CogZest’s seminal book, Cognitive Productivity: Using Knowledge to Become Profoundly Effective.
